Spotless Maids Referral Agency General Information/Customer Policies and Procedures


Spotless Maids is a Domestic Referral Agency matching experienced Independent Domestic Workers throughout the Inland Empire of So. California with customers who need house cleaning services.

Equipment and Supplies:

Your Independent Domestic Worker supplies all cleaning equipment and supplies. However, if you prefer a different product be used on a surface in your home they will be happy to use it if you provide it for them.
We normally refer solo Domestic Workers. Occasionally we will recommend more than one domestic worker for especially large homes or homes that require extraordinary amounts of cleaning.


Payment is due on the day of services. We prefer payment be made by Visa/ MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Any other arrangements need to be made in advance of service. For your convenience we also offer an option to pay online using PayPal or major credit cards through our website.


Please make sure the Domestic Worker has access to your home on cleaning day. Many of our customers provide the domestic worker with a key.  You may want to hide a key or put a lock box on your door.  If you provide a key to the Domestic Worker they will keep that in their possession until you request it back.

Security Alarms:

If your home is equipped with an alarm system, please be sure it is in an off or unarmed position prior to the arrival of the domestic worker or you may make arrangements with the domestic worker to disarm and set the alarm when finished.

Schedule Changes:

If you must reschedule or skip your regular cleaning day, we appreciate a 48 hour notice. If the domestic worker is unable to enter the home upon arrival it may be necessary to assess a lockout fee of $45 to cover expenses. Lockout fees are $65 during holiday weeks. Service reminder calls are only made for customers with frequencies of every 4 weeks or more or by special request.

Arrival Window:

The domestic worker will make every effort to meet the specific arrival time you need but standard practice is for a 2 hour arrival window to allow for unexpected delays such as traffic or extended time on prior job.  If you need a more specific arrival time we recommend service be first in the morning.


To avoid accidents, it would be helpful to secure valuables, collectibles, etc.


Please do not leave small children unattended where they could have access to cleaning supplies. Some cleaning supplies are harmful if swallowed.
